Read below a note from Jess!

One of the best decisions I have made was to go through formal recruitment in 2016. I could easily tell you my honest, yet cliché story describing my fashionably late decision to go through formal recruitment, not initially seeing myself as a typical “sorority girl”, or really knowing much about greek life to make any assumptions in general. However, now especially as VP recruitment, I wish to share pieces of the amazing, unique experience I have had upon receiving my bid from Alpha Epsilon Phi.
The members of AEPhi foster a sisterhood filled with remarkable, inspiring personalities and values. Notably, I find that AEPhi sisters are creative, presenting bold ideas in design and fashion. We are intelligent, passionate for our scholarship and for our active involvement in exploring our interests. Also, we are kind and share through laughter, late-night, deep conversations, and giving. In my personal experience, my sisters have made me feel loved, important, and that I belong. I have found that I can be my most honest self and remain confident, finding that my sisters continue to listen to me, accept me, and give me advice and support to do well. I am lucky to be in a sisterhood that cultivates such meaning.
With this, AEPhi gives each of its members unparalleled opportunities to be their best selves. I am excited to get to know our potential new members of 2017! I truly hope that all potential new members will come to see the essences of our AEPhi sisterhood including the values that we cherish. Through AEPhi, I have found some of my best friends who are always welcoming both on and off of Boston University’s campus. This experience is one of a kind, and I am grateful to share it with potential new members.
